PoCA

The meesting of Postgraduate Cypriot Archaeology (PoCA) offers an excellent opportunity for postgraduate researchers and fresh postdoctoral scholars (within 6 years of the completion of their PhD) from various backgrounds and disciplines to present their work on Cypriot culture and archaeology.

The aim of PoCA is to provide young researchers and scholars with a forum in which to present their work, discuss central themes of their research, meet people who work in the same area and exchange ideas and information in a friendly and collegial environment.

The meeting will take place in hybrid form to guarantee the realisation of the event in winter 2022.

The participation is free for all candidates and interested people who will attend in presence and hybrid. The link will be publicly available in time with registration.

Candidates who plan to participate in presence are asked to organize their travelling and bookings of accommodation in Graz independently. Here you find some further information about accommodation and intercity travelling.

For those who want to join us in person we are very keen to welcome you and comfort you with our beautiful location of the conference at the Meerscheinschlössl. Candidates who will attend face-to-face are invited to visit the campus and the museum and collections of the Institute of Classics around the corner, museum and collections of Schloss Eggenberg and other highlights of Graz, f.e. Christkindl Market in the Old City.
